 On the island of Sicily, Catarrato is a widely-planted varietal, mostly used in the production of Marsala. The grapes are fermented with care and attention, allowing the varietal to express itself. The Catarrato boasts of flavors of grapefruits and apricots, with a backbone of firm acidity.
